aprofessorstale asked: I believe I've already said how much I adore you (and how perfect your roleplaying is) but I will never get tired of showering you with praise. I adore this. The tags are so unbearably hilarious.

ooc: hu hu hu ilu2 ♥ Oh, and, you know, thanks for being patient and shit. I’m not the most consistent of posters and most definitely not the best Charles Xavier on Tumblr. So thank you (and all 300+ of your fellow sprouts) for sticking around, bad pick-up lines and all.

Ah, I beg to differ. I’m not a gun person. It being morning certainly doesn’t help.

My plans are half-formed at best - don’t call Alex that - I think I’ll watch them today. Give them a chance to show off, gauge their abilities before I decide on something. And do you, really? Any help at all would be wonderful; you could talk to Raven later. And—

And.

… You know, I’m not sure.

What Raven needs to do is learn. She can take on physical shapes, and clothing - if I remember correctly - but I’m assuming she only knows English, in an American accent. If she tried to change into an African prince, or the Queen of England, or even me - her disguise might as well be a rubber nose and a large moustache.

Our first roadblock on the journey to furthering ourselves. Now, shoot me in the head.

Pardon me - what?

You heard me. Shoot me in the head. Your hand goes here, the gun goes here, see?

Don’t be silly, Erik - I know exactly what you mean. I can’t point a gun at - good god, it’s loaded. Why do you even have a gun in the first place? Surely there’s another way to train.

Agent MacTaggert is still asleep, she’ll never miss it. I can stop the bullet. You know I can.

… You took a CIA agent’s gun without permission?

She won’t notice. I’ll put it back once we’re done here. Besides, what could she possibly do to me? Do it, Charles.

Oh, Erik. Must I?

We have to train, don’t we? This is as good a way to begin as any. Honestly, Charles, it’s not anything I haven’t been through before. Think of it as a warm-up.

If this is what construes as a warm-up, I can’t bear thinking of what will come next. You can’t possibly expect me to shoot you point blank, can you? You’re my friend.

You know I can stop it.

Well, theoretically-speaking, yes, but —

All right. Give me the gun. Let’s discuss training schedules for everyone else, then.

I’ll get MacTaggart to do this later. I’m sure she’d be happy to.

I think I’ll keep it, thanks. Must you try and get yourself killed every few days, Erik?
